“An Oasis!”
This hotel is a complete surprise! Lovely cabins with a wild flower garden surrounding them. Thatch roof with adobe walls outside and wooden panelling inside. The ensuite is big. Small veranda outside each cabin with table and two chairs. Swimming pool and spa.

This hotel reflects the laid back atmosphere of the area. It is centrally located and a short walk gets you to the shops, restaurants and in our case a pharmacy. It is an excellent location with very friendly staff. The hotel is located on two sides of the road with all facilities open for clients. There are two pools, a masseur and restaurant to cater for all needs of the traveller. The huts are spacious, clean and very comfortable. After a day of touring round the area, you can have a wonderful hot shower in your room or a cool swim and relax enjoying a pisco sour round the pool. The landscaped grounds added to the tranquility of the place. It was quiet and just a wonderful stay.

Perfecta elección para nuestra visita a San Pedro de Atacama. Ubicación ideal , donde comienza la calle Caracoles que es la principal. Habitaciones grandes y cómodas , buenas camas , baño grande y limpio , calefacción , cumple con todos los requisitos . Piscina hermosa que no pudimos usar por el frío . El desayuno muy bueno , hay de todo y si quieres algo más te lo preparan gratis. Jugos naturales deliciosos de verdad , personal súper atento al igual que en la noche para la cena. Una mención especial para Yeremy y Vilma que nos atendieron y nos sintieron sentir especiales. La comida espectacular de rica y de precios. En la recepción nos atendió Carlos , un colombiano parecido Carlos Vives que nos regaló sonrisas y piques todos los días , sin sus recomendaciones nuestras vacaciones no hubieran sido tan perfectas. Felicitaciones a todos en el hotel. Gracias.

Fica a menos de 50m da rua Caracoles, onde tudo acontece em San Pedro do Atacama. Tem estacionamento, quarto amplo, chuveiro com bastante água e quente o tempo todo, aquecedor que é ligado pelo próprio hotel no final da tarde. Restaurante providência lanche para os passeios por 8.500 pesos (lanche, refrigerante, browie, barra de cereal – um é suficiente para duas pessoas).

O Poblado Kimal (existe tb o Hotel Kimal) está bem localizado, próximo a principal rua de San Pedro, a Caracoles. Hotel confortável e boa relação custo benefício. Seus aptos, ou melhor seus chalés são muito simpáticos, com um espaçoso banheiro, todos tem uma pequena e agradável varanda. Calefação eficiente e frigobar com o básico. A internet não funciona muito bem nos aptos, tem que se ira a recepção e não há TV. O café da manhã, servido após as 07h15 está localizado no Hotel Kimal, em frente ao poblado Kimal.

The 20 cabins are built with natural materials, which include a private porch. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially at the Paatcha Restaurant. This hotel is very close to the main drag, Caracoles, so noise levels on the Saturday night can disturb light sleepers. Overall, we had 6 pleasant days in this relaxing and charming hotel.

Hotel Poblado Kimal is in a great location. So near the central square, but on the outside edge of the main hub of activity. When you step out, you are only a few steps from restaurants, bars, tour centers, shops, etc… yet when you step back in all the activity and bustle of the streets disappear and it is pure tranquil relaxation. Easy walking distance to the central square, Gustavo Le Paige Museum, artisanal faire, many restaurants and shops. The private tours offered by the Kimal were great. A bit more expensive, but worth it to go in a small group with such knowledgeable guides and personal attention.

Adorei o Poblado Kimal. Os quartos são amplos, novos e bem decorados. Os hópedes podem utilizar as instalações do Kimal que fica logo em frente. É perto de tudo..Pode-se conhecer o povoado à pé… pois o hotel é super bem localizado. Recomendo!

There are a brace of Kimal hotels in San Pedro de Atacama, both located a minutes walk from the centre of town. We chose to stay in the Hotel Poblado Kimalsan as we're not disappointed, the hotels received great reviews on Trip advisor and various guide books and most people who lived in San Pedro de Atacama spoke highly of the establishment. If you decide to stay at Poblado Kimal it's worth noting that you can use either of the Kimal hotels facilities which include a SPA, two different pools along with a hot tub. The SPA is worth a special mention. The hotel offered a 10% discount on a massage when we stayed which was excellent and well worth the time, it leaves you completely relaxed and stress free and along with the massages the SPA offers a host of well being related activities including Yoga and reflexology. As with all the hotels we stayed at in Chile, the Poblado Kimal staff were friendly and attentive (even at 04.30 in the morning when you set off for some of the tours) and always seemed to know what you were doing from day to day, on a couple of occasions they even reminded us if we wanted breakfast prepared for the following mornings early tours. The reasons to stay at either of the Kimal hotels are; Location and proximity to the centre of town Design and layout of the hotel The SPA.

Hotel poblado Kimal, ubicado en el centro de San Pedro. Lindo y cómodo hotel, cerca de todo. Cuenta con restorant, muy bueno y precios razonables. Excelente atención del personal. Ofrecen servicios de masajes, tiene piscina y jacuzzi. También ofrecen tours.

Adorei o hotel!! Com certeza eu recomendo e, se voltar a San Pedro, gostaria de ficar no mesmo lugar. Realmente não esperava algo tão confortável e tão próximo à rua principal de São Pedro. Os preços das acomodações, no geral, não são tão muito baratas na cidade. Neste hotel conseguimos juntar um preço razoável como ótimas acomodações e ao lado da rua principal. Todos os quartos são individuais, um estilo de chalét com varandas. O hotel possui piscina (excelente para a volta dos passeios). O café da manhã também é muito bom. Não existem centenas de tipos de pães e bolos, mas existe uma variedade. Há, também, um restaurante (muito bom por sinal) no hotel onde é possível almoçar e jantar.

Considerando que tudo no Atacama é caro, esse hotel tem um bom custo benefício, ou seja, não acho ele barato (cerca de 200USD/diária) mas, em comparação aos outros e considerando o que ele oferece, vale muito à pena. Tem EXCELENTE LOCALIZAÇÃO, ótimo serviço, quartos bem exclusivos em forma de chalets, bom restaurante, 1 piscina, 1 jacuzzi e SPA com ótimas massagens!

A localização é excelente! O atendimento, a limpeza e o conforto são impecáveis!!!!! O café da manhã é muito bom e variado. Só o chuveiro é difícil de controlar a temperatura e a cortina muito clara, o que incomoda quem gosta de dormir no escuro.

Es realmente un oasis de placer sumamente recomendable todo funciona y la copa de bienvenida fue super gratificante despues de tantas horas de viaje, llegamos en auto desde el Paso de Jama muy dificultoso para aclimatarse puesto que desciende muy abruptamente. Fueron muy atentos en todo momento tratando de facilitarnos lo que necesitabamos y orientandonos en relación a las precauciones a tomar para la adaptación a la altura.

The hotel had a resort feeling. Each room was in a detached building set in a simple garden and connected to reception and the other rooms by a path made of timber planks. The room was comfortable with the usual amenities except for TV which may have seemed out of place in a frontier town where the single story buildings are constructed with mud walls and the main street is narrow. There was a spa offering a wide range of massages, but the restaurant and bar was in the adjoining Hotel Kimal and was not an inconvenience. Both hotels were small with about 20 rooms each.
